Accessibility statement
The operator of the PLD 2026 Liability Check is committed to making this site accessible to the widest possible audience, in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, applicable from June 2025) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Last reviewed: 12 June 2026.
Conformance status
This site aims for WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. The tool has been built with accessibility in mind: a skip-to-content link, a single, logical heading hierarchy, keyboard-operable form controls (native <select> and <button>elements rather than div-based widgets), visible focus states, text alternatives where needed, and colour combinations chosen for adequate contrast. The verdict console updates are announced to assistive technology through a live region so screen-reader users hear the result as inputs change.
Known limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some content reproduces the dense, citation-heavy wording of Directive (EU) 2024/2853, which can be harder to read; the methodology page restates the same outcomes in plainer language. If you encounter a barrier we have not anticipated, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
Feedback and contact
If you have difficulty using any part of this site, or need information in an alternative format, please contact the operator at [email protected]. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to resolve accessibility issues as a priority.
Enforcement procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to the competent national market-surveillance or accessibility-enforcement authority in your country under the national rules transposing the European Accessibility Act.
