Purpose of the site
The site provides an informational scoping tool that helps economic operators assess their potential exposure under Directive (EU) 2024/2853 (the revised Product Liability Directive). The verdict console and the methodology page are informational only. They are not legal advice, do not create a lawyer-client relationship, and do not certify compliance, produce a Declaration of Conformity, or substitute for advice from qualified counsel on a specific matter.
Conditions of use
By using the site you agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to access it by unauthorised means, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of third parties. The owner may update, suspend or withdraw the content at any time without prior notice.
Intellectual property
The source text, the verdict logic, the visual design and the compilation of citations are owned by the operator or used with permission. The text of Directive (EU) 2024/2853 itself is an official EU act and is reproduced or cited for information. You may not reproduce the proprietary parts of the site for commercial purposes without permission.
Liability
The owner provides the tool “as is” and does not warrant that the information is exhaustive, error-free or current at the moment of use; the dataset-freshness note on the home page states when the citations were last verified. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the tool’s output.
