Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with the PLD 2026 Liability Check (the “tool”), in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). Last updated: 12 June 2026.
Data controller
The data controller is José Manuel Volante González (NIF 49108819R), a natural person established at C/ Zafra 5, 21310 La Zarza (Huelva), Spain. You can exercise your data-protection rights or ask any question about this policy by writing to [email protected].
What data is processed, and why
The tool is a static web application. The verdict console runs entirely in your browser: the answers you select are never transmitted to or stored on any server, and no account, login or registration exists. Personal data is processed only in two narrow cases:
- Messages you send us. If you contact the controller by email, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Aggregated, cookieless analytics. The site may use a privacy-preserving analytics service that records anonymised, aggregated page-view counts without setting tracking cookies and without profiling individual visitors. No data that identifies you is collected by this measurement.
Recipients and international transfers
Personal data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Email is handled by the controller’s mail provider acting as a processor. The static site is served by a content delivery network; where any processor stores data outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Your rights
You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.
